You are Invited

But he replied, ‘Lord, I am willing to go with You to prison and to death.’ Luke 22:33

Today you are invited to consider how far you are willing to go with Jesus.  Peter thought he would be willing to go all the way – but hours later he denied His Lord.  What do Peter’s words say to you?  How do you respond to the thought of saying them to Jesus?  Be honest with yourself and with God.  Peter did not follow through on his proclamation, but Jesus forgave him.  When have you felt you have ‘failed’ God?  Spend time with God and talk this through with Him today.  What is God saying to you about these things?  How does His reply make you feel?

May God bless you with forgiveness and encouragement – whatever you may need – today.

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
