You are Invited

God, who knows the heart, showed that He accepted (the Gentiles) by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as He did to us (Jews).  Acts 15:8

Today you are invited to consider who are Gentiles to you and who are Jews. Who worships God so differently to the way you worship Him that their ways are strange to you?  Who is part of your home community who believes and worships exactly the way you do?  When do these two groups of people meet?  What happens when they do?  What is God saying to you about different worship styles today?  How can you build bridges between groups who think and worship in different ways?  What is God asking you to do?

May God bless you with a spirit of acceptance and understanding as you meet and worship with others who do things in different ways to the way you do them.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
