Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. Isaiah 12:2
You are invited to consider where you are afraid today. What makes you afraid? What sort of fear is it? Is it a passing fear of a specific event that will be taking place sometime in the near future? Or is it a deep-rooted, on-going fear that cripples you in certain areas of your life? Sit in the presence of God today and speak to Him about this fear. What is the cause of it? Hold His hand as you consider these things. Feel His arms around you and hear His gentle voice whisper to your heart, “Peace be with you” (John 20:19)
May God bless you with His peace wherever and whenever you feel afraid today and in the days to come.
