You are Invited

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me?  Up to seven times?”  Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”  Matthew 18:21-22

Today you are invited to consider seventy-seven times?  Who do you have in your life who is continually sinning against you – whose words hurt time and time again, whose actions abuse you?  Even these questions may hurt or anger you.  How can you forgive seventy-seven times?  Ask Jesus.  Ask Him to show you how to follow His words in these verses.  Ask Him for His help.  Stop and listen to Him and hear what He is saying to you.  How do you feel now you have listened?  What do you want to say to Him in reply?

May God bless you with His compassionate love as you share your heartache with Him today.
