Hear this, you elders; listen, all who live in the land.  Has anything like this ever happened in your days or in the days of your ancestors?  Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children and their children to the next generation.  Joel 1:2-3

Today you are invited to consider what is happening in your life that is so noteworthy you need to tell it to your children for future generations to remember.  What part of your life does this happening fit into?  Politics? Work? Family events? Play?  Your relationship with God?  What is happening in your relationship with God at this time?  How will telling your children help them in their own faith?  How will it help future generations?  How intimately do you feel God is involved in your life today?  What do you want to say to God about His involvement in your life – and what will you tell your children about the role He plays?

May God bless you with an awareness of His power and love today in such a way that you know you have to tell your children.
