As soon as Jesus was baptised, He went up out of the water.  At that moment heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him.  And a voice from heaven said: This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased’. Matthew 3:16-17

Today you are invited to consider how you see Jesus.  Who is He to you?  What does it mean to you when the voice from heaven says “This is My Son …”?  How do these words re-enforce, or block your perception of Jesus?  He was human but He was also the Son of God.  What questions do you want to ask God today about the mystery of Jesus being both man and God?  What does He reply to you?
