The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Romans 8:16

Today you are invited to consider how you hear the Spirit testify to you?  How do you know you are God’s child?  Is it intellectual knowledge because you have read about it?  Or is it heart knowledge because you just know deep inside that this is so?  How do you feel about this statement?  Does it give you joy or do you have some doubt about this? Offer your heart and mind to God today and open yourself to His Holy Spirit.  Invite Him to testify to you that these words are true for you and that you are indeed His child, no matter what may have gone before.  Then celebrate this truth, for if you believe in Jesus you are, indeed, a child of God!

May God bless you with an assurance today that you are His child and He is your Abba, your Father.
