Then a voice said to him, ‘Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.’  ‘Surely not, Lord!’ Peter replied. ‘I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.’ Acts 10:13-14

Today you are invited to consider how you hear God speak to you.  When He asks you to do something unusual or that seems to be different to those things He has asked you to do before, how do you respond?  How do you know God is speaking to you rather than your own mind?  How do you make the decision whether to go forward or to turn away?  Speak to God, asking Him to increase your wisdom in these circumstances so that you may follow Him wherever He asks you to go.

May God bless you with clear instructions and the wisdom to identify His voice when those instructions seem strange to you.
