Remember me with favour, my God, for all I have done for these people.  Nehemiah 5:19

Today you are invited to consider all you have done for people this week in God’s name.  It is not something we are comfortable doing.  We feel we are boasting.  But consider today the small things.  The smile for a stranger, the cup of tea for a colleague, the relinquishing a parking place for another driver … How do such things make you feel as you think about them?  Where are you succeeding with these small kindnesses?  Where are you failing?  How can you do more today and in the days ahead?  Little things that speak of Jesus’ love for them as well as for you.

God bless you as you love others with Jesus’ love in little things today.
