… ‘I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.’ 2 Corinthians 6:18

Today you are invited to consider how these words make you feel.  Sit in silence for a while and then tell God about your feelings, whether they are positive, because you have a loving earthly father, or negative, because your earthly father was not who you needed him to be.  Share your feelings openly with God.  What do you want to say to Him about your father on earth?  How does He want you to pray for your earthly father? What do you want to say to Him in His role as heavenly Father?  What does He reply to you?

May Father God bless you today with a true sense of what it means to have Him as Father, and how you are blessed to be His son or daughter.
