The devil said to Him, ‘If You are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.’ Jesus answered, ‘It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’ Luke 4:3-4

Today you are invited to consider which temptation is strongest in your life.  How are you resisting it?  What happens when you give into it?  How do you feel afterwards?  How can the Word of God help you in this situation?  Who can you go to for encouragement to resist?  What do you want to say to God about this temptation?  He knows about it already so be open and honest with Him. Then sit quietly and listen for His reply.  Ask Him to lead you to a Scripture that can help you to remember He is on your side and will help you to resist so you may follow Him with joy all the days of your life.
