Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb  It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. ‘Take away the stone,’ He said. John 11:38-39

Today you are invited to consider what is preventing you from living the abundant life that Jesus came and died to bring you (John 10:10).  What ‘stone’ is imprisoning you in sin, sadness, depression, financial difficulties or in any other way?  What effect do such things have on your day to day life? What dreams are they preventing you from fulfilling?  Jesus ordered the stone to be moved and Lazarus came into the sunlight to live, serve and worship Him for an unknown number of years.  Jesus can move the ‘stone’ imprisoning you too.  Ask Him to do so, and then watch with expectation as He does this for you.  What are your feelings now?  What is the first thing you will do, knowing that Jesus has your ‘stone’ in His hands and will sort it out for you?  Tell Him about it and listen for His reply.

May God bless you as He grants you freedom to enjoy abundant life today and in the days ahead as He removes the stone that has been imprisoning you.
