We also assume responsibility for bringing to the house of the Lord each year the first fruits of our crops and of every fruit tree. Nehemiah 10:35

Today you are invited to consider what your first fruits may be and how you feel about giving them to the Lord.  What is the equivalent of ‘first fruits’ for you in what you do, earn, grow in today’s world?  What is the first thing for which you budget every month? What is the most important thing you need to pay for?  Do you have surplus to give to God at the end of every month?  Or do you give to God first?  How comfortable are you with the way you spend your hard earned income?  Spend some time speaking to God about these things.  How does He feel about what you are telling or asking Him?  What changes could you make to accept the responsibility Nehemiah speaks about in the above verse?

May God bless you as you honour Him with the first of everything and learn to trust Him as your Provider today and in the days ahead.
