You are Invited

… every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree cannot bear good fruit … thus by their fruit you will recognize them. Matthew 7:18, 20

Today you are invited to consider what sort tree you consider yourself to be and what sort of fruit you bear.  Can you see the fruit of the Holy Spirit in your own life? (Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control)  Can others see this fruit?  Who are the people to whom it is easy to display this fruit; who are those who push you to the limit and who make it difficult for you to bear good fruit?  Which fruit is is especially difficult for you to show to others?  What do you want to say to God about these things?  Ask Him for a word of encouragement and guidance today that you may be a tree for Him that bears good fruit.

May God bless you with an awareness of the fruit of the Spirit in your life and show you where you need His help to develop them more.
