Peter answered Him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” Matthew 19:27

Today you are invited to consider how you feel about serving God.  What happens when it is inconvenient to give up your own agenda in His service?  Do you feel resentment or joy?  Why?  Are you able to shrug off any feelings of neglect or rejection of your ministry, or do you feel guilty?  Why is that so? What is more important to you than serving God?  What do you want to say to God about these things, and how does He reply?

May God bless you with a willing spirit and joy as you serve Him today, whatever the rewards may be.
