Luke writes:

When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved.  Acts 27:20

Today you are invited to consider in which areas of your life you feel lost.  Where do you need guidance or help?  Where do you feel adrift as if there is no hope of emerging from the circumstances that confuse you?  Luke tells us that Paul had been visited by an angel of the Lord who said, “Do not be afraid, Paul, … so keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God ….” (Acts 27:24,25) How strong is your faith in God to guide you in this situation at the moment?  What is God saying to you through these verses today? How do you respond?
