“Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Joshua 5:15

Today you are invited to consider where ‘holy ground’ is for you.  Where have you felt especially close to God?  How have you experienced Him there?  If you are able to visit this place in the next few days, consider going there and take off your shoes and spend time with God.  If you cannot go there, then visit it in your imagination, also taking off your shoes and spending time with God.  What does this visit mean to you?  What is God saying to you at this time in this place?  What do you reply?  Don’t hurry but spend time, being in God’s presence.
