May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
Today you are invited to consider how you speak and what you say. How does your tone of voice sound to others? Maybe it’s kind, loving, compassionate; maybe it’s harsh or hurtful. How would you feel if they used the same tone of voice to you? What about the words you use? How much do your words honour God and the person to whom you are talking? What are you thinking as you speak to the people around you? Do you love them or are you judging them? What do your thoughts say about you as a person? Ask God to show you any changes you may need to make so the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart may be pleasing in His sight today. Listen for His reply.
May God bless you as you speak today, and may He bless those with whom you talk with a sense of His love for them.
