Then he said to me, ‘Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and speak my words to them.  You are not being sent to a people of obscure speech and strange language, but to the people of Israel … Ezekiel 3:4-5

Today you are invited to substitute your name for the phrase ‘son of man’ and the name of your homeland for Israel and then re-read this verse; then consider how this verse speaks to you now.  How many people surround you who do not know God as their Saviour? Who will you be seeing today to whom you can speak God’s words?  What words does God want you to speak?  Spend time with Him today and ask Him how He wants you to obey His command ‘go … and speak …’ How willing are you to follow Him in this?  What do you want to say to Him?  How does He reply?

May God bless you as you follow Him today and speak to your own people in your own language as He has commanded you.
