So they nominated two men: Joseph … and Matthias. Then they prayed… cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.  Acts 1:23, 24, 26

Today you are invited to consider how you cope with disappointment and rejection.  Do you face it head on or do you want to run away and hide?  Who do you go to for encouragement or comfort?  How does it affect your relationship with God?  What can you do to cope with your next disappointment in a more positive way?  How can God help you?  Speak to Him about these things and then make a note of any conclusion you come to so when you next face disappointment or rejection you are better equipped to deal with it.
