Today you are invited to consider the dry and desert places in your life. Why are they deserts? What makes them so dry? How would your life change if such desert places rejoiced and blossomed? Spend some time thinking about these things and speak to God about them.  Ask Him what it is He wants you to learn in these desert places. How willing are you to stay in them and learn the lessons He wants to teach you? What help do you need from God to do this successfully? Ask God to show you the purpose of the wilderness and remember – He is with you even there, even if you cannot feel His presence.
