I am wondering.

For just over four years now I have been writing my ‘You are Invited’ posts on Discovering the Rainbows. I know there are people who follow me from the likes and email responses and occasional comments I receive. I always enjoy hearing from you. Thank you for your responses. And I can see how many people look at the actual blog and where you live from the stats the website gives.

What I am wondering about, though is the Friday morning post.  This one. The one where I write more. Sometimes it’s fun, sometime’s it’s worship, sometimes it’s even heart wrenching.  What I am wondering is how many people actually read these posts, on Facebook, by email, or on the website itself. I enjoy writing them, but do they detract from my blog? Or are they the only thing you read?

Would it be an improvement if I started another blog called You are Invited and have the daily posts on that and keep the longer posts on Discovering the Rainbows? Or the other way round, and find a new name for the Friday posts?

Would you follow both? If not, which one would you follow? Or would the process of having to follow a new blog put you off? (Sorry to those of you who are computer wizz’s but I know some of my followers are not 😉

Last year, when I was struggling to find inspiration for the You are Invited posts, God told me that He wanted me to continue with them.  And I find a deep joy in knowing that people, all around the world are using them, and God, Himself, is using them.

But I have always enjoyed writing the longer posts.  Perhaps if I separate the two, I can go a bit crazy and write even more.  Do you think people would be interested? Or can I do that on this site anyway? Does it take too long to read them? Are they long enough already?

I don’t want to lose touch with any of you and I would really appreciate some feedback – your opinion is important to me, and, after all, you are the people who will benefit (or not) by any decision I take.
