Thank you to everyone who responded to my ‘wondering’ last week. The majority response was to keep my Friday posts on Discovering the Rainbows as has been the case up to now.
What I may do is duplicate these posts on a new website, dedicated to them too, so they may be found by others who are not looking for the daily devotions posts. So, things will stay unchanged at the moment.
I will let you know when the new site is established and give you the link to it. But don’t hold your breath at the moment as life is pretty hectic and as long as I am writing once a week there is no urgency for the change.
I am being challenged at the moment by my internet connection, so if I go silent for a few days, it may well be that the connection has broken down.
I am investigating fibre which has been installed at the expense of my garden on my front verge to the boundary of my home, but which has not actually been linked to the house yet.
All this will happen in the next few weeks, and it may be there are a few hiccups in the changeover. Please do not think I have stopped or that you have lost me. I will be back!
Setting up a new blog and moving across to fibre makes me sound like a technological whizz-kid (to my ears anyway).
But the actual doing it is a big challenge for me.
I pray about it and chip away at the processes, discovering the way as I go. God often puts people in my path who know how to take the next step and the issue ‘comes up’ in conversation. seemingly by chance.
But at the end of each day and at the completion of each project, as I look back, I can see God’s hand in the process. After all, there is no better Technological Expert than the Creator Himself, and I am learning, day by day, to lean on Him, whatever I may be facing.
He has never let me down! And He shows me in ways I can understand rather than having some human expert telling me in technical language that is beyond me. I know, once the transition is done, that I will be equipped to a higher level of expertise and equipment than ever before.
Even in these things, I can praise Him as I trust Him to show me how.
God bless you as you learn to trust Him too in all areas of your life.
