The next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29

Today you are invited to consider whether you believe these words are true for you. Do you believe Jesus, the Lamb of God, has taken away your sin? Or are there still things in your life that you believe God cannot forgive? John was certain this was the truth, for this is how he defined the task Jesus had been given by God. What has happened in your life that you find hard to believe God has forgiven? Why should God, who loves you, forgive some sins, some people, and not all sins, when Jesus came to forgive the sin of the world? Speak to God today and ask Him to free you from the false burden of guilt as you confess your sins to Him, and so to set you free.
