Today you are invited to consider how you honour those in your family and your circle of friends or colleagues when they accomplish something great. How do you respond when they publish a book, or achieve a scientific breakthrough, or succeed in a task that has challenged them for a long time? What do you say? What do you tell other people? What have you achieved that does not seem to be recognised or acknowledged by those who are close to you? How do you feel about that? What is Jesus saying to you through these verses today?
