Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. John 5:1

Today you are invited to consider what the special days in the Church calendar mean to you. How do they differ from ordinary days? Do you gather with family, go to Church more often, spend time in contemplation? Or do you let them slip by like any other day? How can you make the next Church festival in the calendar special for Jesus? What can you give Him to say thank you for who He is in your life? Begin to plan now, especially if your plans include other people. It may be a while before your Church celebrates (eg Christmas) but there may be other occasions before then when you can set aside the day and celebrate Jesus in your life.
