You are Invited

The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, and so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.” John 5:9-10

Today you are invited to consider how the traditions of the church where you worship may hinder your style of worship. Perhaps you would like to raise your hands, but you know that will be frowned on. Maybe you would like to worship in holy silence but the ethos of the church is vibrant. How do you think this affects your relationship with God? Speak to Him about these things. What does He say to you in reply?

May God bless you with a reassurance of His love for you and may He show you how your worship pleases Him.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
