You are Invited

For this reason, they tried all the more to kill Him; not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. John 5:18

Today you are invited to consider how you feel when others speak of God in ways that you feel are not right. How do you react when people tell you of their experiences with God that you may not have experienced yourself? What emotions rise up in you – anger, envy, wonder, joy? Why do you feel this way? Do you find yourself judging others in these situations? How do you feel about giving them the freedom to worship God in their own way which may be very different to your way? Speak to Jesus about these things. What does He say to you in reply?

May God bless you with His loving grace today.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
