However, after His brothers had left for the festival, He went also, not publicly, but in secret. Now at the festival the Jewish leaders were watching for Jesus and asking ‘Where is He?’ John 7:10-11

Jesus waited for the right time. Today you are invited to consider how you react when God says “Wait” to you. Do you listen to His voice? Do you rush ahead and act or speak anyway? What makes you stop and listen? How do you respond to people who encourage you to take action when you know it is not the right time? What is God saying “Wait,” about today in your life? How do you feel about waiting? Speak to Him about such things. Trust Him in this. His timing is perfect.

May God bless you as you wait when He says “Wait,” and go when He says “Go.”
