The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, ‘Teacher this woman was caught in the act of adultery…’ John 8:3-4

Today you are invited to consider how you react to those you can see are doing wrong. What do you say – to the wrong-doer, to others, to God? How do you feel when you see another unable to resist temptation in some way or another? How important is it to you to help them to find the strength to resist? Who will you go the extra mile for? And what about your own inability to resist that one temptation? Speak to God about such things and ask for His guidance and His strength in the face of all temptation – yours and others.
