Today you are invited to consider how you react when the way ahead suddenly becomes clear. Do you rush forward eagerly, grasping opportunities as they come? Or do you pause and thank God for opening the door for you? What difference do you think it will make if you take the second option next time an obstacle is removed or a door opened? Ask God to remind you to thank Him first and then to go forward in His presence. What are you doing at the moment that is only possible with His help? Before you start your day, pause and thank God for the opportunities the day will present. And then take note in the evening about how your day went.
