The Pharisees did not like what Jesus was doing as it threatened their place in society. Today you are invited to consider whether Jesus threatens your place in society? How do your friends and family respond to you as a Christ-follower? What about your colleagues? What do they say to you about your faith. Pray today for those who support and encourage you – and pray for those who disagree and persecute you for your faith, whatever form of persecution they may use.

May God bless you with steadfastness in your faith that no one and nothing may weaken it.
