You are Invited

They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the King of Israel.” John 12:13

Today you are invited to consider how you will greet Jesus when He comes. Will you run out to meet Him, calling your own Hosannas? Or will you run and hide, ashamed of your past? Jesus gave His life that your sins may be forgiven. Speak to Him now about anything you may have in your life for which you have not repented. Ask Him to bring to mind any unconfessed sin that you may confess it and be free indeed. Let Him clean the slate, that when He comes you may run forward and cry “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the King of Israel!” What is He saying to you today?

May you be blessed today with the freedom that comes from accepting Jesus as your Saviour and the knowledge that all your confessed sins are forgiven and put away – as far as the east is from the west.
