The crowd had been muttering about how Jesus drove out demons from a man who had been mute. Jesus, after explaining His reasoning said to them:

But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Luke 11:20

Today you are invited to consider what these words mean to you. How aware are you of the ‘finger of God’ being active in your life? How do you discern whether something is from God or not? What makes you know whether something someone says or does (or what you say or do) is from God and what is not? What does it mean when Jesus says the kingdom of God has come upon you? How do you feel about these words? Tell God about any struggles you may have and ask for His wisdom to discern His way from any other way.
