You are Invited

Jesus responded to the sneering Pharisees with these words:

You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value tightly is detestable in God’s sight. Luke 16:15

Today you are invited to consider what opinion you have of yourself. Spend some time thinking about it. How do you see yourself? Jot down a couple of ideas. Then when you have done so, ask God how He sees you. Listen. Make a note of His response. How do the two views of you differ? How are they the same? What do you want to say to God in response?

May God bless you with a new view of yourself today as you spend time with Him.
