You are Invited

… ‘They have taken my Lord away,’ she said, ‘and I don’t know where they have put him.’ John 20:13

Today you are invited to consider how close you are to Jesus.  Have you drifted away from Him or is He right here with you now?  What distracts you from Him?  What draws you near to Him? Do you know where He is right now? How much closer to Him do you want to be?  Are you walking alone – or are you walking hand in hand with the risen Lord?  What do you want to say to Him today – whether you can feel His presence with you or not?  What do you want to ask Him?  Tell Him how you are feeling.  Speak to Him about any concerns you may have about drawing closer to Him.  Could it, perhaps involve a change in life style; a new job; and move?  What stops you from following Jesus more devotedly?  Be open with Him; then listen for His reply to you.

May God bless you with a strong awareness of His presence with you today and may He calm your fears as you hear Him say to you ‘I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’ Matthew 28:20

      Thank you, Sue. God is so amazing in that He encourages me to write just the right words for someone in the world on any given day. I am thrilled and over-awed that He is using ‘You are Invited’ to touch lives and make a difference. God bless and heal you as you continue to hold His hand.
