While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”  Acts 13:2

Today you are invited to consider how you hear the Holy Spirit giving you guidance.  How do you know that the Holy Spirit is speaking to you?  What physical, emotional, spiritual signals are evident to you at such times?  Maybe you have not recognised His voice yet in your life.  Ask Him to reveal to you what happens inside you so you may recognise Him speaking to you in future.  You may find that, in fact, you already know His voice but have just not understood that He is speaking to you.  Listen.  What is He saying to you?  If you do know the signs, give thanks that you have heard Him speak to you – and then listen.  What is His word to you today?

May God bless you with an awareness of His Holy Spirit today as you listen for His voice – and then follow Him.
