The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom.  Though it cost you all you have, get understanding.  Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honour you.  Proverbs 4:7-8

Today you are invited to consider what you are prepared to sacrifice to obtain wisdom.  Where have you found wisdom so far in your life?  How did you obtain it?  What honour has it brought you?  How do other people see you in regard to wisdom?  Or perhaps you have not worried to become wise?  Who, in your life do you perceive as wise who could be a role model for you?  How can God help?  Whether you consider yourself wise or not, speak to God about this today.  His wisdom will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown. (Proverbs 4:9)
