When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” John 4:7

Today you are invited to consider how you relate to those who are from different backgrounds to your own. The Samaritan woman would have been ignored by other Jewish men. But Jesus began the conversation by asking her to fulfil a basic human need for Him.  How easy do you find it to begin a conversation with someone from another country, culture, faith, generation? How does Jesus’ example help you? Who do you need to speak to today who comes from another life-style? Ask Jesus to help you and then follow His lead.
