Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever. John 6:57-58

Today you are invited to consider the provision of Jesus. He gave His life that you might have eternal life. He provided manna in the desert for the fleeing Hebrews. How does He provide for you? Look around you – at your home, your work, your family, your friends, whatever is important to you and see these people and things in the light of God’s provision. Look at the small things – how has God blessed you with them recently? What do you want to say to Him about His provision? How does this awareness affect your feelings about your future?

Be still, dear soul, your God does undertake to guide the future as He has the past.
