“Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill? Here he is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to him. Have the authorities really concluded that he is the Messiah? But we know where this man is from; when the Messiah comes, no one will know where He is from.” John 7:25-27

Today you are invited to consider the people you know, especially your family. Who among them serves God in a way others seem to recognise but you have trouble acknowledging? Why do you feel this way? How can you look at them with new eyes – with God’s eyes – and see what they are doing in His service? How can you affirm their work? What do you feel when you think of doing this? How do you think they will feel? How could God feel? What holds you back in this regard? Give these restraints to God and seek ways you can acknowledge your friend or family member’s contribution to the kingdom’s work.
