You are Invited

Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. Psalm 57:1

Today you are invited to consider how tightly you are tucked under the shadow of God’s wings. Do you feel safe? Why/why not? Is your response because of something you have or have not done? How can you draw closer to God at this time? Whether the disaster in your life is the virus, or the times generally, or something specific that is happening to you, read the words of the Psalmist again as a prayer. Ask God for His protection as you shelter under the shadow of His wings. What does He reply to you?

May God bless you today and protect you, whatever you are facing.
