Adding to the statement that people are blessed when they face fierce opposition because of Him, Jesus continues:

Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets. Luke 6:23

Today you are invited to rejoice! Whatever you are facing at this time, however your efforts do not seem to be noticed, however you are struggling to be a follower of Christ, rejoice, because your Father in heaven sees and delights in you! How will you do this today? What will you say to Jesus about these things? Rejoice, my brother, my sister in Christ, because God loves you!
