Of course, the synagogue leader objected to Jesus healing on the Sabbath. Jesus answered him:

You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her? Luke 13:15-16

Today you are invited to consider the way other people live out their faith that you may not agree with. What do they do? What do they sing? How do they express their faith? Why do you object to these things? What do you think they feel about the way you worship God? What does God say about the differences between you? Ask Him and listen for His response. Who can you find today who worships the Living God in a different way so you can stretch out a hand of Christian fellowship (or an elbow in this time of pandemic) and start to build a bridge?

May God lead you to someone so a bridge can be built today.

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
