Jesus told another parable, this time about the trees giving the signal that summer is approaching.

Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. Luke 21:29-31

Today you are invited to consider what signs you can see happening around you. Are you looking? Do you know what these signs mean? What are they pointing towards? Jesus had been talking about the signs of the end times – are there any of them happening in your world at the moment? Ask God to alert you so you are not taken by surprise. Listen for His voice. What does He say to you?
