But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Luke 6:35
Today you are invited to consider how you respond to this instruction. What is the difference between doing these things for someone you love and trust – and doing them for someone for whom your feelings are the complete opposite? What would make you love, do good, or lend to those whom you consider to be your enemy? Who is your enemy? What makes them so? What is God saying to you through these words and how will hearing Him speak to you through them bring about a change in your life?
May God bless you with new ways of seeing and responding to others, and may His guidance be your door to new relationships and adventures in being loving, doing good, and taking risks today.
