Jesus continued with His explanation of the four soils.

The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. Luke 8:14

Today you are invited to consider those around you who have heard the Gospel, with whom you have talked about Jesus, but who find the attractions of this world greater than the joy of turning to the Lord. Pray for them today. Who are they? What seems to be the barriers that exist between them and God? Who can you help to see Jesus as you know Him? How can you do this? Spend time with God today, praying He will touch them in special ways so they may realise at last Who He is and how He longs for them to turn to Him.
