Jesus said:

Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear. Luke 14:36

Today you are invited to consider whether you hear. Do you hear what God says to you? Do you hear the voice of Jesus when you read Scripture? Do you hear others when they talk with you, confide in you, consult with you? Do you really hear? Or do the words that are spoken drift through your mind and disappear? What are you missing by not listening and so not hearing all that is said to you? Ask God today to speak to you and tell you clearly what He wants you to hear in words spoken by Him and by others. What is He saying to you? Record what you hear in your journal and make a decision to hear more intently next time you have a conversation – whoever it is with.

May God bless you with ears that hear. And if you cannot physically hear, may He bless you with healing or the wisdom to understand the essence of what is being said to you.
